In Part 1 we ended at the lively Museumplein. But Amsterdam has more interesting squares. Like the Leidseplein with the City Theatre and a big cinema. In addition, the Americain Hotel and Cafe where artists and intellectuals come together. Nearby other attractive places like a casino, the Hard Rock Cafe and pop temple Paradiso. The Rembrandtsplein is named after our most famous painter. His statue is in the middle. The statues around him are figures from his most famous painting, the Nachtwacht.
